How-To: Unlikely Floral Vases

Paper Craft Pantry Blog How To Create Floral Arrangements in Unlikely Vases

If I had to pick one thing — other than paper — that I consider to be a favorite, it would have to be flowers. There's nothing quite like a fresh little arrangement to brighten up the studio or my desk at home and, honestly, it doesn't matter if it's beautifully arranged from a local florist or a simple bouquet from Trader Joes!

It may seem unconventional, but when it comes to adding flowers into my day-to-day life, I thoroughly enjoy using vessels and glassware that aren't typically meant to be used as a vase. Folks who ask where I get my vases from are always pleasantly surprised when I tell them it's actually drinkware!

There's something therapeutic about arranging beautiful blooms into a fun vessel, even if you have no experience with flower arranging. I typically refer to one of my favorite books, The Flower Recipe Book, for inspiration... and let's be honest, sometimes flipping through the pretty pictures is just a good way to unwind!

So without further ado, here's a round up of my five favorite drinkware that double as unique and unlikely vases!

This brass wine glass is the perfect size for a small arrangement — use a set of 3 for a centerpiece that's timeless.

If simplicity is your middle name, you're going to love using these stemless champagne flutes. Just add a stem or two of your favorite blooms!

These drinking glasses add a touch of vintage feel with their elegant design. I love using these with lots of greenery and simple neutral blooms. p.s. They're also available in an array of colors!

Keep things classic and natural with these clay handleless cups.

Anyone else loving all things copper + rose gold! Turn your favorite Moscow Mule cocktail mug into the cutest vase.
