Where do your workshops and classes take place?

All our workshops and classes take place in The Paper + Craft Pantry's studio! We are located at 2511 E. 6th Street, you won’t be able to miss our iconic mural and mint green door! In the event we do host offsite workshop collaborations, information will be provided in the workshop listing.

Where can I park?

There is free street parking on E. 6th Street. You may also park on the streets in the neighborhood (Hildago, Diaz and Calles). We advise you plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before class start time to ensure you can find parking. Note that the lot next to our building is for tenants only and may be subject to towing. Please be aware of city parking signs and be courteous of our neighbors!

What kind of experience is required for your workshops? What's the minimum age required to attend?

Our workshops are open level classes that are perfect for beginners as well as for someone more seasoned in the class content. We will specify if a workshop requires previous experience. Our workshops are best suited for ages 18 years and up- in the event you would like to register someone under the age of 18, we will send you a separate release and waiver to be signed by a legal guardian or parent. We do require that someone over the age of 18 participates/accompanies the minor in the class, as a registered participant. What can I expect the day of the workshop?

Our studio doors open 10 minutes before the class start time. We encourage students to come early so you'll have time to sign in, get settled and browse our retail shop before we begin. All materials you'll need for the workshop will be provided (unless specifically stated in the workshop listing), so all you have to do is come ready to learn and have fun!

*Note that if you are more than 30 minutes late from the class start time, we may be unable to seat you as the class would have progressed and it may be unlikely you'd be able to catch up to speed with the instruction. 

I’m unsure of the workshop cost, can you tell me more about the fees?

All our workshops are all inclusive!  That means you not only get personal and professional instruction from our top notch instructors, you also get quality materials and sips + treats! The cost of the workshop also takes into account the time and effort the instructor and our studio coordinator has put in prior to the workshop for each student to prepare for an incredible class!

Can my (friend, significant other, child) who isn't taking the class accompany me to the workshop?

Each ticket counts as one single seat to our class!

For the best experience and to uphold integrity for all our paying students, we are unable to seat additional folks who don't have a paid ticket.

What happens if a workshop is cancelled?

Although rare, a workshop may be cancelled or rescheduled if it doesn't meet the minimum registration. In this event, you will be contacted as soon as this decision has been made and we will refund 100% of all paid tickets. We will also notify you as soon as we get it rescheduled.

Something’s come up, I can’t make it to the workshop!

Due to the demands of our workshops, our workshops are non-refundable or exchangeable for any reason.  We take a lot of time to prepare for our workshop and so do our instructors! In the event you have someone who would like to take the workshop in your place, let us know within 48 hours and we will happily honor them taking the class in your place. *We are not responsible for the reimbursement of your workshop fee* If you are unable to find someone to take your place, we will put aside your personal workshop materials for you to pick up anytime during our open hours for the following 2 weeks.

AH! A workshop I want to take is sold out! What can I do? 

Unfortunately once a class is sold out, it does mean that it's at maximum seating capacity and we are unable to accommodate additional students. We are unable to keep track of so many waitlists since we host so many events. Your best option is to sign up for our newsletter so you can be the first to know about future classes or when we do decide to host this workshop again! 

Can I host a private workshop in your studio?

Absolutely! We love hosting private workshops and parties in our studio, and even travel to host remote workshops for larger groups! We've hosted team building happy hours, birthday parties, bridal showers, just to name a few. We've held workshops for groups of 12 all the way to 24 in our studio, and up to 160 offsite!
