Time: 2pm-4pm

*This ticket is 100% donation based and will be contributed to Urban Roots, an Austin based non-profit that cultivates leadership skills through food and farming to transform the lives of youths and inspire, engage, and nourish the community.

Come party with us at our first ever Plant Swap Party in our studio!

Upon arrival, you’ll get to mix and mingle amongst fellow plant enthusiast before we begin our official plant swap. Everyone must bring one pest free and healthy plant (6”-8” pots only - plants can be in their original grow pots) to swap with a new plant friend you meet at this swap. You will get to label your plant with it’s common household name/botanical name as well as care instructions for it’s new plant person.

You will provided more instruction the day of the event as to how this swap will be done.

What to expect + you'll get with your ticket: 

  • 2hrs of planty mingling + fun (and giving back to the Austin community!)

  • A limited edition collaboration art print (a $20 value!)

  • A chance to meet new plant friends

  • A new plant friend to take home with you (you must bring one plant to swap - details below)

  • Entry to a planty raffle with over $150 worth of plant goodies

  • Sips to enjoy during the event

*NOTE: All attendees must bring one pest free and healthy 6”-8” potted plant to be able to participate in the swap! Plant can be in it’s original grow container and must be healthy + pest free. Rooted cuttings of your unique plants are encouraged so you can share with a new plant friend!

All workshop sales are final- no refunds or exchanges. Ticket sales will end 24 hours prior to workshop.

Pei Sim is the owner and founder of The Paper + Craft Pantry, an Austin based stationery shop and workshop studio. She works with independently owned stationery designers to stock the shelves in the shop and works with fellow small business owners to co-hosts weekly creative classes in the studio.

As an avid D.I.Yer and small business champion, you can find her teaching workshops as well as on The Paper + Craft Pantry's blog where she shares craft projects and small business knowledge. 

When she's not running the shop or planning for an upcoming workshop, you can find her tending to her plants in her green house, trying out new recipes in the kitchen or spending quality time with her husband and two pups!
